We're excited to share that Broward County Government has expanded its strategic partnership with the Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation to boost opportunities for local businesses and entrepreneurs.

As part of this initiative, Broward County has donated 20 Scholarships for the 100 Startup Project. These were awarded to graduates of the 2024 Kauffman FastTrac® NewVenture™ Program, which includes membership to the Levan Center for a year.

There will also be a new satellite office at the Levan Center where the Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) will offer Technical Assistance Fridays on the 1st and 3rd Fridays each month starting in December. Services include help with small business certifications and access to government contracting resources.

Through this partnership, entrepreneurs gain access to essential resources like professional networking, funding opportunities, and wraparound services designed to support startup growth.

"This collaboration with Broward County OESBD is a testament to our shared pledge to nurture entrepreneurial talent and foster economic growth," said Kelley Shanley, Interim Executive Director at the Levan Center. "By providing these startups with the resources and support needed, we are empowering individual entrepreneurs while also contributing to the overall prosperity of our community."
